We have an exciting opportunity to join our crew as our next Lending Manager!

We are on the lookout for a talented individual to join our dynamic, award-winning mortgage team. This isn't just a processing role; it's a pivotal position where you'll directly contribute to our clients' financial success and play a key role in our growth.

We're on the hunt for someone with great attention to detail – someone who thrives on accuracy and understands that every detail matters when it comes to our clients' best interests. Your highly organised nature will be key in managing workflows and ensuring seamless operations.

But it's not all about the numbers! Building genuine connections is at the heart of what we do. Your excellent relationship-building skills will be vital as you support our advisers and interact with clients, ensuring they feel valued and understood every step of the way. We pride ourselves on looking after our clients' best interests, and you'll play a crucial role in upholding that commitment.

What You'll Do:

  • Facilitate the lending process: Prepare and organise loan applications, ensuring all client information is accurate and compliant with lending regulations and complete end to end submissions with a range of key lenders.

  • Support our Financial Advisers: Seamlessly partner with our advisers, who primarily focuses on mortgages, handling the administrative and preparatory aspects of their deals; from application, through to submission and loan settlements.

  • Manage the refix pipeline: Take ownership of our existing client refix process, ensuring we proactively service their needs, identifying opportunities and maintain strong relationships throughout.

  • Client engagement: Enjoy direct interaction with clients, guiding them through the application journey with clarity and professionalism.

What you'll bring to the Knight's Round Table:

  • 2+ years of experience as a Lending Manager or similar role is preferrable.

  • Fully proficient in lending processes and can hit the ground running.

  • Unwavering attention to detail: You'll be putting together applications for bank submission; details and understanding of bank policy is crucial.

  • Exceptional organisational skills:  You can juggle multiple tasks with ease and keep everything running smoothly.

  • A knack for building rapport: You genuinely enjoy connecting with people and fostering trust.

  • A proactive and positive attitude: You're ready to jump in and contribute to our vibrant team culture.

What's in it for you?

  • An exciting opportunity to be a key player in an award-winning firm.

  • A competitive salary complemented by commission for new clients you bring to our business.

  • Flexibility to hybrid work from our Takapuna office (carpark provided) and/or from home, supporting a work-life balance that suits you.

  • Become part of a highly-driven, small, fun, and supportive team that celebrates successes and collaborates closely.

  • The chance to make a real difference in people's lives and contribute to their financial well-being.

  • Opportunity to progress to becoming an adviser if that is your goal.

If you're ready to advance your career in a supportive and growth-oriented environment where your skills are celebrated and your contributions are truly valued, we'd love to hear from you! Come join Advice Knight and help us continue to deliver exceptional service to our clients.
