Westpac Winter Warmer or ANZ’s Good Energy Home Loan

Thinking about household energy efficiency or perhaps upgrading the car to fuel saving electric vehicle? Two of the major banks have recently introduced fantastic lending options that are heavily discounted to allow clients to upgrade their home to a warmer, drier, and healthier home or even to make the move to an Electric or Hybrid Vehicle. The savings here can be substantial – Westpac’s offer providing a $40,000 interest-free loan for up to five years while ANZ will provide 1% p.a. finance on up to $80,000 for a three year fixed period. 


High level details of the two offering below:


ANZ’s Good Energy Home Loan is a home loan top up enabling customers to borrow up to $80,000 at 1% p.a. fixed for 3 years to either make their homes more energy efficient (Heat Pumps, Insulation, Double Glazing, Ventilation) adding Solar Panels, Batteries, Electric Vehicle Chargers, Rainwater tanks or even purchasing an Electric or Hybrid vehicle.


Westpac’s Warm Up loan has being expanded and customers can now borrow up to $40,000 interest-free to make their home warmer, drier, more sustainable and energy efficient. As well as the increased limit, electric vehicle chargers and solar batteries have been added to the items that can now be funded through the loan.
